Inclusive Schools
Consultancy
Practical SEND and inclusion consultancy that helps schools create inclusive environments where every child can thrive. I work with leaders and staff to strengthen systems, meet statutory responsibilities and turn recommendations into confident, sustainable everyday practice.
Inclusive improvement that stays focused on children
Child-centred
Starting with the child, their strengths, needs and aspirations.
Systems focused
Robust processes that are embedded, evaluated and sustainable.
Evidence-informed
Decisions grounded in evidence, professional experience and impact.
Impact driven
Monitoring and reviewing to understand what is making a difference.
Working together
Collaborative support that builds staff confidence and capacity.
Strategic SEND expertise with practical school experience
I am an experienced SEND and Inclusion Consultant with a background spanning schools, Local Authority specialist teaching and strategic leadership. My professional experience includes working as a School SENDCO, Local Authority Specialist Teacher and Specialist Teaching Team Manager.
I have supported schools and multi-academy trusts to embed robust SEND processes, helped new SENDCOs establish effective cycles from the outset, contributed to the development of enhanced specialist provision within mainstream settings, and worked strategically and practically with SLT, teachers and support staff.
I work alongside people rather than simply handing over recommendations. That can mean reviewing provision with senior leaders, mentoring a SENDCO, modelling strategies in the classroom, coaching support staff, delivering whole-school training or helping establish a monitoring and evaluation cycle for the year.
The aim is not consultancy for its own sake. It is stronger systems, more confident staff and better experiences and outcomes for children.
How I support schools
- SEND audits and improvement planning
- SENDCO mentoring and development
- Monitoring and evaluation cycles
- Training across the four broad areas of SEND
- Specialist pupil reviews and next steps
- Modelling and implementation support
- Enhanced provision in mainstream settings
- Legislation, policy and statutory compliance
- Support for SLT, teachers and support staff
- Primary, secondary and trust-level support
Legally informed and future-facing
My work is grounded in a strong understanding of the current SEND legislative and statutory framework, including the Children and Families Act 2014, Equality Act 2010 and SEND Code of Practice: 0–25 years.
I support schools to consider whether identification, graduated response, reasonable adjustments, provision and review processes are understood and implemented consistently across the setting.
Preparing schools for what comes next
I also keep practice aligned with the evolving national direction of SEND and inclusion reform, helping leaders strengthen inclusive mainstream practice, earlier identification, evidence-informed support and workforce capability while remaining clear about current statutory duties.
Emerging reforms are treated as policy direction and proposals until they become enacted statutory requirements.

Practical training across the four broad areas of SEND
Training can be tailored to your identified school priorities and can be combined with observation, coaching and modelling so that staff are supported to translate knowledge into everyday practice.
Not just recommendations — implementation
Effective SEND systems should help adults understand the child, identify barriers, implement the right support and evaluate whether it is making a meaningful difference.
I can work alongside SLT, SENDCOs, teachers and support staff throughout this cycle. The aim is to leave your school with stronger systems, greater confidence and sustainable inclusive practice — not dependence on external consultancy.
Let’s talk about your school
Every school has a different starting point. You may already know what support you need, or you may simply know that an aspect of SEND provision, systems or practice needs strengthening. I offer a free initial call to discuss your priorities, the outcomes you would like to achieve and the support that may be most suitable.
Flexible support across the UK
I am based in Buckinghamshire and have supported schools across the UK. Support can be delivered in person, remotely or through a blended approach, depending on your school’s needs, location and priorities.
A no-obligation conversation to explore your needs.
Ideal for mentoring, leadership consultation, document review, action planning and follow-up.
Available for audits, observations, modelling, training and implementation work.
Support can be shaped around the outcomes your school wants to achieve.
